Account Deletion Request

This page is provided in accordance with Google Play policies to help you permanently delete your Hepium account and associated personal data. You may request account deletion through any of the methods listed below.

How to Submit an Account Deletion Request

You can submit your account deletion request using the form at the bottom of this page. Please follow the steps below so that we can process your request:

1. Enter your full name and the email address associated with your account in the form below.
2. You may optionally share your phone number to help us verify your identity.
3. Check the confirmation box to acknowledge that the deletion is irreversible.
4. Click the "Submit Request" button. You will receive a confirmation email once we receive your request.

Deletion via the App

You can also delete your account directly from the Hepium app:

1. Open the Hepium app and sign in to your account.
2. Tap the "Profile" tab at the bottom right.
3. Go to "Settings > My Account > Delete My Account".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Once your account deletion request is approved, the following data will be permanently deleted:

• Account profile: name, surname, email, phone number, profile photo
• Location data: real-time location, location history, defined safe zones
• Family circle memberships and invitations
• Driving analyses, route and speed data
• SOS notifications and associated audio recordings
• Companion mode, Check On Me, and flight tracking history
• Device identifiers, session information, and in-app preferences

Data That Will Be Retained

Some data may continue to be retained for a limited period due to applicable legislation and legitimate interests:

• Billing and payment records: retained for 10 years pursuant to the Turkish Tax Procedure Law.
• Transaction logs subject to legal obligations: retained for the period required by applicable legislation.
• Anonymized records for abuse prevention: kept in a form that does not contain personal data.

Retained data is used solely for fulfilling legal obligations and defending rights; it is not processed for marketing or analytics purposes.

Processing Timeline

Important Notice

Account deletion is irreversible. Once your deletion request is approved, you will lose access to your account, location history, family circle connections, and subscription benefits. If you have an active Premium subscription, we recommend cancelling it through your subscription store before submitting the request; otherwise auto-renewal may continue.
